The Young Masters Art Prize 2012
demonstrates that there is equal talent and attraction in the beauty,
technique (I am thinking for example of Karina Checkik's draughtsmanship
revealed in Madama Palace Turin, 2011) and messages in the
work of these Young Masters, compared to works from the past. This prize
and exhibition have captured the emerging and fast-growing zeitgeist of
interest in comparing past and contemporary art.
